Led by Alice and Andrew Clarke, Stone’s Throw Tours is a veteran-owned and operated private guiding service based in Wiltshire.

Andrew and Alice met while serving in the British Army and bring the same discipline, preparation and attention to detail instilled in them then to the journey they will design for you now. No two itineraries are the same, each being thoughtfully structured, personally delivered and carefully timed according to your day. Whatever the journey, we work with you, bringing our military discipline to bear for your private shore journey.

We know that private travel should be personal, thoughtful and unhurried. We intentionally limit the number of tours we accept in order to maintain the level of care, discretion and planning our guests deserve. We watch the clock, so you can relax and soak up the day.

When you travel with us, you are collected and guided directly by the people who designed your day - Alice and Andrew. You are never passed between drivers or representatives. It is us for you and we are very much looking forward to working with you to give you the best possible day in our beautiful home county.
